NO Results? Here’s Why

YOU’RE NOT REACHING YOUR GOAL OF PAIN RELIEF

How to Overcome Chronic Neck Pain, Headaches, Back Pain and Anxiety….

…When Nothing Has Worked!

Stop me if this seems familiar. You’ve been stretching and using a massage gun (or your partner) on your tight neck and shoulders or lower back and you don’t seem to be making any progress.

All your friends think that you’re the picture of health but you carry around a constant level of tightness and pain.

However, what they don’t know is how much this constant discomfort is costing you.

How does that make you feel? You take care of yourself. You eat a healthy diet, you get a good nights sleep most nights, and you exercise.

Read this guide to learn what might be stopping you from overcoming your pain before you head down the path of desperation and start taking more medication or consider an injection!

Ready to learn all about overcoming chronic neck pain, headaches, or back pain?

Grab yourself a cup of tea and get comfortable.

Throughout my 35 years working in healthcare as a chiropractor, I have learned a thing or two about why people aren’t getting the results they want. Not a week goes by without someone coming in who has tried all sorts of treatments with little success.

Often it comes down to one of these 4 reasons. Knowing the what and why is often the first step in getting on the right path to overcoming those nagging pains.

Reason #1. You Are Out of Balance

You must have heard how important balance is in a lot of contexts, right? That’s exactly what’s happening when you have chronic problems that just don’t seem to get better no matter what you do.

When the joints of the pelvis and spine get misaligned they put stress on nerves, joints, and soft tissues. The body attempts to compensate for this imbalance and this eventually becomes a source of pain.

Reason #2. Sometimes Your Spine Isn’t Moving Properly

Hey, friend, this is a judgment-free zone, so you can level with me on this.

Do you have neck pain, back pain, headaches that just are getting better no matter what you do?

I thought so. It’s time to restore motion to the joints of your spine and pelvis. There is only one reason you have joints and that is to provide for motion. When you lose some of that motion it causes a domino like effect that eventually causes pain.

Reason #3. You don’t Good Activity of the Posterior Chain

In order to move through your day without pain, you have to have good activity and strength of a series of muscles called the Posterior Chain.

These are muscles that get inhibited by sitting and as a result of injuries.

I like to restore balance and motion and then get my clients to activate the posterior chain:

  • The first step is restoring balance – otherwise any exercise is only reinforcing the imbalance
  • The next step is restoring proper joint motion so the muscles are able to do their job
  • After balance and motion is restored we start activating the posterior chain

Reason #4: Your Autonomic Nervous System is in Survival Mode

Whoa, hold your horses there, don’t get the wrong idea. I’m not saying you’re not doing well.

Survival means the sympathetic “fight or flight” part of your nervous system has been over activated by pain, injury, and stress.

This causes a constant cycle of muscle tension, inflammation, and pain.

I know that when I had this imbalance, it was really hard to move forward the way I needed to. No matter what I did the tightness and pain never seemed to go away.

I got relief with treatments but seemed to experience a never ending stream of challenges from insomnia to neck and back pain.

It wasn’t until I developed the ability to turn on my Vagus Nerve and learn how to self-regulate that I escaped the cycle of stress and pain.

Once you learn to self-regulate your nervous system you are no longer the victim of stress. You will experience challenges that you move through smoothly without challenge.

Pain reduces, tension subsides, sleep improves.

Key Takeaways

You may have noticed that all of these reasons for not achieving success with chronic problems like neck pain, back pain, headaches, or anxiety have to do with supporting the body in achieving greater balance.

At first, that may seem challenging to fix.

Thankfully, I used to feel that way about myself and my clients. When I finally put this system together and used it myself I decided I wanted to develop a simple way to share it with others so they could escape their chronic pain.
