The Perfect Treatment Approach for People Suffering from Chronic Neck Pain, Headaches, and Back Pain.

If you suffer from low back pain, neck pain, or headaches the challenge is figuring out what is the best approach to treatment to solve this problem.

We get stuck wondering things like, “What is the risk of repeatedly taking anti-inflammatories like Ibuprofen or Tylenol?” or “Would chiropractic help and how do I find a chiropractor I can trust?”

When you’re unsure what to do, it’s hard to move forward.

The good news is, you can easily bring order to the chaos by correcting the imbalance causing your pain with corrective chiropractic care.

In this post, I’ll define corrective chiropractic care and provide 3 ways corrective care is different from traditional chiropractic care. I hope that this will give you a roadmap so you can get started with corrective chiropractic and solve your chronic neck or back pain or headaches.

What is the perfect chronic pain for Corrective Chiropractic Care?

Corrective Chiropractic seeks to identify the underlying imbalance that is causing your pain and develops a personalized plan to restore balance and function.

In other words:

Chronic pain is a sign of imbalance putting stress and irritation on the nervous system. That is why you have pain. By correcting the imbalance we can take the irritation off the nervous system and correct the cause of the pain.

The added benefit is that we can eliminate or drastically reduce the need for medication and you can return. Without correcting the cause of the problem how can you expect the problem to resolve?

Finding a Corrective Chiropractor

One challenge is finding a chiropractor whose focus is on correction. If their website or staff uses the word manipulation it is a sign that their care is less specific and focused on short term relief rather than correction.

This is a crucial component because neglecting to address the underlying cause of the problem allows the problem to worsen even if the pain is temporarily relieved.

Many people who are new to dealing with pain start out on the right track but then get stuck because when what they are doing stops working they don’t know where to turn.

And then they wind up doing things that offer short term relief at the expense of long term stability – like medications, physical therapy or traditional chiropractic.

The key to living pain-free is to take your time finding a practitioner skilled in identifying the underlying cause of your problem.

To get started here, [a small step they can take – e.g., store your blog ideas in a spreadsheet, add a natural, light element to each room].

The Problem is Imbalance

The body is continually striving to maintain a state of balance. Chronic pain is a sure sign of both structural and neurological imbalance.

If you’ve spent hours stretching, rubbing or massaging the tight and painful area but something still feels off – like you’re not getting it to really release and relax, this is likely the piece that’s missing.

Without this, you can massage and stretch every day for weeks and still not experience the relief you want..

What can you do?

A really useful way for determining if you have an obvious imbalance causing your pain is to stand in front of a full length mirror and observe if you are out of balance. .

Having someone else to observe can make this easier. Have them stand behind you and put a hand on top of each side of your pelvis (hips). Is one higher than the other? With your arms hanging down does one arm have more space between the arm and your body? Is one shoulder higher than the other? Look at the bottom of your ear lobes. Is one higher than the other?

Motion is Another Key

When muscles and joints are out of balance it will also impact mobility.

Here’s where you’ll really start to feel the impact of the imbalances you have lived with for years or even decades. This will start to show you a little about how your imbalance is affecting you.

Of course, this loss of motion has taken a long time to develop. Some of this is likely a strategy your body has taken to protect you from injuring yourself further.  Consider going gently and avoiding trying to stretch this out.

The Corrective Rebalancing Program you can use to correct your problem is:

  • Corrective Chiropractic care to restore spinal joint motion and alignment and relieve pain and muscle tension.
  • Then Posterior Chain Activation to correct imbalances and damage from sitting and reverse damage of poor posture.
  • Then, in order to maintain the newly achieved balance and relief, just implement a gentle practice of Spinal Joint Flossing to reverse the damage from dysfunctional movements and rewiring proper coupled joint movements.
  • Lastly, a practice of rebalancing your Autonomic Nervous System by activating the Vagus Nerve will release deeply stored tension, promote relaxation, and teach you how to self-regulate your system.

Once you’re done,  you’ll be well on your way to participating in all the activities of life without concern for experiencing the limitations of your pain.
